Default Synchronize Carburetors???

I did mine after adding dual exhaust, jetting and a k&n filter, They didnt really need it though they were almost in spec from the factory maybe just a hair off, Adding exhaust and such will not disturb the sync, Basically it is just both slides on the carbs opening at the same time, you can remove your filter with the bike running and do a quick check by easing up & down on the throttle and watching to see if the slides move in unison, I would buy a sync tool to have if you are going to keep the bike for any length of time, I is a easy step to do when you are tuning your bike and you will know it is right

I had the whole top of my engine off for the heads and cams on the Prairie and changed the carbs around about 20 times afterwards and when I the sync checked they were still dead on. So no its not needed for basic jetting.

The shop manual says, need to resync after pulling the needles out. I did a lot of tinkering on the FZ1 and they were still all very close, all 4. My prairie carbs 'look' close, but somtime ill throw the morgan on there and check.
