Well, after suggesting a Ricochet skid plate and carrying on how well it protects the swing arm boot, I looked my 03 P650 over today and a gaping hole is in the side of the unit. GEEEEEEESHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Has anyone bullet proofed this thing yet?

 

i really dont know how to protect them but my brothers ripped early on when he got it. all i can say it is totally worth the effort to replace them when it happens otherwise you are looking at costly repairs later on.
