I was at my local Honda/Kawasaki dealer today thinking of buying a Recon. I have had one before and was quite pleased with it. But the Lakota sitting close by caught my eye. He had a great deal on a 2000 model. Does anyone have good first hand knowledge of this machine? Is it a good reliable machine? Any gripes? What are the pros and cons of this machine? Anyone knows how it does in water crossings ?(we ride around the river a lot) I mainly ride recreationally, trail riding but also some camping. How is the range on the fuel tank? Any other info would be appreciated! Thanks.
