As I posted eariler, I am on my 3rd torn boot. I have an 1,100 acre hunting lease in the North GA mountains. Not alot of established trails so I have been creating my own. This has to be what is getting to my boots.
I called Ricochet and asked for help. I said the plate could be 4 to 5 inches longer in the rear. He said they did not go back so much because of that much unsupported plate.
He is making me one 5" longer for me to fit and test. I will have to make sure my swingarm and or tires do not hit and let him know how it holds up after sliding over logs and rocks.
I think my boot is getting stuck when I am in the sticks and need to back up. I hope the extra material helps.

 

Why not place a rubber piece from one skid plate to the rear swing arm skid plate? That should cover it. BTW; bustin new wtrails is my favorite type of ridding ,it just a pain in the *** to pull out all of the sticks I take home with me.

 

Now, you know I would find a way to tear that rubber flap off and jam it into the boot. You know it!
No, I am going to go with as much plate as possible and then see if I can add some side guards. I'll post pics.
