Tuff: I'm going to try the orange/blue and the blue next week. Bike is at the shop right now where they are grinding down clutch weights for high altitude, then jet it to match clutching for 6k to 12k elevation.

The P700 lost points on some recent shootout due to the tricky-quick response on the throttle, when climbing a steep. You have talked about flipping back with a somewhat aggressive primary spring. I'm thinking a throttle extender will have to travel further for the same power and not be so likely to flip (don't want to be over-workin the old pucker valve). Lightening up your clutch weight & rejet will make it rev quicker/get in the power band quicker. SO, your bike will feel as though it has almost the identical power it has now at sea level. Almost like putting lower gears in. May not run as fast on top end but will have morte torque & get to top speed quicker.

The Dalton Orange/Blue spring is WAY more forgiving than the EPI Red. You are going to love it on trails/performance.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
