bayou trany HELP!!

Default bayou trany HELP!!

i just got bayou 185 for free from one of my freinds because the shifter to the trany was busted so i went to the local junk yard and got a entier botum end and then just put the shifter shaft out of that and put it in mine but it is still doing the same thing that got it busted in the first place its really loose and is hard to get to shift down i to second first and reverse buyt if any one nows what would cause the shifter being loose please post also the sahifter is not stripped thanks

Default bayou trany HELP!!

Just something to try there is a nut on the same side of the shifter close to it back the nut off a couple threads turn the bolt with a screrwdriver little bit too a time it adjusts your clutch make sure you tighten the nut again when you make an adjustment
