Default Rough idle on BF750

Just a question for yall. got a full hmf exaust on my brute and a jet kit. Thing spits and pop right off the start. Runs fine when it warms up.
Im thinking that the pipe and jet kit just make cold running a bit of a chore being as it runs good when warm. Also pulled the plugs they were black but worked ok.
Just looking for opinions.

It sounds to me that you may have over jetted(rich) When cold and you have your choke on you are richening an already too rich mixture. After shes warm and the choke is off she runs fine but if your plaugs are black you will notice it will probaly be more powerful and run better if you would lean it out a bit. You could run at a certain speed for a few minutes and then kill your bike without letting go of your throttle. With a warm bike if idiling for a few minutes gives you a black plug then turn your mixture screws in with 1/4 turn incriments till its better. Then drive around at half throttle and do the same. If your plug is still black then move your clip on the needle closer to the top which will lean you out. Then lastly do a good wide open run and kill it. Jet up or down accordingly. Its kind of a pain to get this all dialed in but once you do it is worth it. Just6 because you followed the jet kits instructions doesnt mean your jetted right. Those are only recomendations. A different area will mean different jetting needs.
