Default BF Tie Rods, Other Probs?

I am looking at a BF 750 and have read of people having problems with bending or breaking tie rods. Is this a widespread problem? Also any other common probs with the BF? I eliminated the KQ as a possibility because of the reverse failure issue. I hope I don't have to eliminate the BF because of known probs too.

The Low Speed Miss/lean front needle is the other problem the BF has had. Although there has been recall/tech bullitines most Dealers wait till the customer complains before taking action. Do a search on the forum "Brute force" plenty info

Tried the search and found some useful info. Thanks. Is the needle prob being covered under warranty?
