also my prairie came with the belt a little loose from the factory and have heard other people say the same is this a problem I should have fixed before I pick it up

If you plan on using the tires from your prairie they wont fit. The brute is a Honda/Yamaha Pattern. I just learned that lesson the hard way.

VPrairie.

Save your red spring & put the stock 650 spring back in the 650 before you take it to the dealer. The red Primary spring should work just as well in your BF with the 27" tires. The Red spring will Give you more torque down low. Only takes about 15 minutes to unbutton your CVT cover and swap it out.

I am leaving my black spring in my prairie and I ordered a maroon and an almond spring from EPI so I will see which set up I like best .I am still keeping my 650 for my lady she likes to ride as well

Are you putting stock tires on the P650? Red spring too harsh for stock tires imo.

I am having the stock tires put on the 650. I am not leaving the red spring in, I am putting the stock spring back in and leaving the black secondary in it as well

Good Idea Vprairie

My wife tried to rid my prairie with the red spring & scared herself. Looked like a bunny rabbit. Wheelied each time she touched the throttle. Applying the throttle gently, although it can be done, with the Red spring without wheelieing is an AQUIRED-Talent. Especially, for someone thats not use to it.

the plan is eventually put a little more aggressive tire on the 650 maybe holeshots or someting of that nature that is why I am going to keep the black spring in
