I bought my brute at the beginning of September and have yet to receive the plow mount for it. My dealer keeps telling me its on its way and that was in December? I have waited over 7 months and bought the darn thing to plow my driveway in Wisconsin. Anyone else still waiting? If so, I had thought about writing corporate a letter complaining about the rediculous wait seeing if I can get some reimbursement.

Any thoughts?

on a side note, I just recently checked my belt and while taking off the housing, a black U-shaped clip with one side coated in a soft rubber fell off from where...I do not know? It was attached by a bolt or screw though. Any suggestions maybe?

Can't help you on the loose parts flot'n around in your clutch cover. But I would find another dealer for the plow mount. When all else fails, make your own.

 

That part is a wire hold down that goes under the cover bolt just to the rear of the CVT exhaust hole in the cover. you will see a bunch of wires up there that it holds down.

what make plow mount are you waiting for? i got the cycle country 60" plow at my dealer and he had the mounting plate there. the plow worked real good, i also bought the rubber flap that bolts to the top of the blade. got my money's worth this winter.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
