Default Oil in air box

Have a problem, started up the 650 today went for a drive and went to clean the filter and there was engine oil laying in the bottom of the air box. Does any one know why this is and is it a problem.

Default Oil in air box

Check your oil level. Prairies are heavy breathers, like oil level a little below full, and will sometimes vent oil in the airbox after steep hill climbs, long Wheelies. Also smell your oil, if it smells like gas, you have probably left your gas on after riding & need to change your oil & filter
