I'm a DirtWHeels reader, been for the past 20 some odd years. They're bringing out those looking back articles and they stir up some memories. So I wanna feild one for ya all.
....... Remember when quad first stated comming out? 3 wheelers were so ingrained that these new 4 wheeled things looked weird, almost unnatural. Can remember thinking, with the early Suzukis how they'll never catch on, I mean why would anyone bother? Sure I got some flak from some dirt Bike buddies, but I loved 3 wheels too much. I remember a time going to the dunes - and there were no quads. Not a one.

I still have old dirt wheels / 3 wheeling magazine issues.

The one I can't find is on the ATC250r/cr500r engine swap vs. the ATC250r/nitrous combo. I know its around here somewhere...
