my lakota engine is going back to CWR................
#1
well......when i got the engine back i noticed a small oil leak where the case halfs meet on the front part of the engine. I thought i sealed it up with some gasket sealer but then today it started leaking again and i dont want to wreck my nice new top end so im sending it back to get fixed. Also, the back lower engine mount has a chunk missing from shipping and greg insured it so this means i get new free case halfs from UPS too and maby even a crankcase becasue their was a chip on that also so all in all im not too dissapointed, hopefully greg could just get it back to me quickly maby in a week or two cuz the wether is getting nice and i really want to go ride.
I said i was going to post about how the quad ran before and i never did so i will now. All in all my lakota rips compared to how it was before. even with the 14t sprocket i coluld pull wheelies with no problem and that cam really lets the thing rip in the higher gears. I could do an easy 50 up hills and probally around 60 on flat surfaces. I think im going to put the 13 back on though because i really like the low end power. Maby i could even have some more work done on it this time around like some port work, or clutch and flywheel mods.
