KFX400 - how do I mount license plate?

I just got my plate in the mail for my 05 KFX400. How and where do I mount it? I thought it might fit in the holes of the taillight - but they don't line up.

Are there kits available?

i mounted mine in the frame on the front of the quad,just under the nose cone,with zip ties.

Don't they have to be mounted on back?

mabey i don't know, il ive in canada it may be different.the way i see it is as long is its on there they will just give a warning.
