i know newduck has a 345 lakota so he should be able to tell you how it is. i would think that it will rip cuz gregs pistons are 11:1 compression for the big bore kits plus it brings you up from a 290cc to a 335 so thats a 45cc gain. so it would be like having a xr50 with a hi compression piston plus the lakotas original power, thats a very good way to think of it lol. while greg has it you should have him regrind and put a .420 lift on your cam that really makes a noticiable diffirence too

i'm going to build it up one step at a time. i'm starting off with the big bore, carb kit, air filter, supertrapp ex., valve job, and port the head. the next step is either a cam or a clutch kit. i see you have a dp clutch on yours do you like it or would you recomend something else?

the dp steel plates are amazing, they never fade and they are acutly steel, not aluminum. i did a real hard race once around a track for a coupple hours once and it didnt fade one bit. the kit has been in for about 6 months now and when greg had it appart he said the kit looked like brand new and the steel plates are susposed to last 3 times longer then stock. the only thing i dont like about it is the springs, they feel softer than the stock ones so just buy the dp kit then have greg get you some hd springs. i probally would go with the clutch kit before the cam cuz the stock setup especially since yours is a 2000 the addedpower of the cam will make the clutch slip. what kind of carb kit are you going with and is greg or are you porting the head? are you just going t oreplace the seales and have the valves freshened up or are you going to get the larger valves

i'm going to port the head myself. i'm taking the head to a mach. shop to get the valves ground. i thought about the bigger valves but i'm going to hold off on that for now. i just got 142 and 145 main jets from greg for the carb to see if that is enough or i might end up ordering a mikuni carb from him or at least a k&n jet kit. when i placed my first order to him i ordered the high comp. piston but when i got ready to put the motor back together i found out that it wasnt 10.5 comp so i sent it back to him and i decide to get the big bore kit. so i'm just going to use the parts that i ordered for the high comp. piston and see how they work and keep accesorising one step at a time to get the power i'm looking for.
