Default lakota rear caliper bracket

I recently got a 2000 Lakota that needed chain, sprockets & rear brakes- I got the chain & sprockets on no prob, but after I got the caliper off & put the new pads in, the caliper bracket holes did not line up w/ the torque bar hole- when I tap the bracket down to where it should be, the chain tightens up & I can't get all 3 holes to line up. What am I doing wrong?

tighten the bolts for the axle carrier real tight, then the chain shouldnt tighten or loosen when you move the caliper bracket. let me go look at my lakota thou so i could get a better idea

Default lakota rear caliper bracket

Thanx 4 the tip, I tightened the carrier bolts down & put a long socket on the bracket & started pounding away-- It took a lil bit but, eventually I got it where it needed it to be. Now I'm on the prowl for the cheapest (online) pipe I can find, I'm gonna get the power up kit from Shade tree atv. I really like how quiet the OEM pipe is- Any suggestions?
