Front Noise after installing Works Struts
#1
Got my Front Works Struts installed and getting thumping sound or sound like the A-arms are hitting the frame whenever the front wheels are off ground or fully extended. Ride, cornering otherwise is sensational. Soaks up bumps very well. Just wondering why/cause of noise. You can lift up on front end by hand and feel the thump. Also gives the sensation that tire is rubbing when it happens while riding and felt through handlebar. Any help or suggestions are most appreciative.

Mine did the same thing on the Prairie 700 I just sold, and I think it was just the sound of the struts topping out. I rode cross country a fair amount on untracked sagebrush, and that shound got very old, very quick. I never could find anyway to get that sound to stop, so I ended up removing the Works struts and going back to stock struts with Elka springs, and that fixed the problem.
