I am getting just shy of 22 mpg (just turned 500 miles). This is riding logging roads in the mountains. A delightful surprise, how does this compare?

Wow you got a good one my burns as much as my truck 10 running hard...14 or 15 puttin around 1/4 to 1/2 throttle...a little better with stock jetting but not a lot...jh

 

22mpg is really good, nothing to complain about. My Ex '04 650V2 avg 18mpg but my buddies '04 650V2 gets 21, as he doesn't ride as fast as me. We too ride Forest Service roads in the Mountains. My Buddies mpg went up after he had the V2 rejetted for the higher elevations.
