Default Temperature control

I ride in the desert of Arizona and when it gets up to near 100 deg F, my Prairie 650 gets a little warm. I have installed a temp gauge and it runs about 210 deg F normally but on a long slow climb in the heat, it gets up towards 225 - 250 deg F.
Has anyone heard of a cooler thermastat that could be installed. I was thinking of about 180 deg F.
Thanks

Default Temperature control

I have seen alot of people remove the thermostat completely. Or run Evans NPG+ coolant or Engine Ice. In order to really drop those temps thats what you are going to need, the thermostats are pretty restrictive so removing it should allow more coolant flow, downside is warm-up and in the winter. Just my 2 cents.
