hey yall would a come along work as good as winch because i went ridin on my 220 bayou and got hung up pretty bad my axles were nnnn the mudd like the back rack was like 3 inch from the ground lol i had to go get a 400 formen with mud lites on em to pull me out n it gave it hell so would a come along get me outta mess like that lol thanks yall

 

a 2 ton come along should work pretty good. btw where did you find new cams for the 220 and how much? i posted in the other post about more power but it got buried and you prolly didnt see it lol

 

oh sorry man i was kinda askin i thought u was sayin i could get new cams lol sorry man i dont think they make a hotter cam for a bayou id like to get one tho if they did

Come-along is a cheap winch & very portable & it works. I've seen come-alongs pull out full-size vehicles b/c it was my come-along that pulled it out. Back in the days when I rode my '86 Suzi quadrunner 250 4x4 I never had the winch installed, just the come-along straped onto the rack, it saved me many, many times.

 

A comealong is ok as long as nothing gives way and snaps, will come at you like a rocket. You need extension cable to grab onto a tree or whatever (put rag or something between tree and cable wrap).

 

It's what I used to use on my 90 300 Bayou 2 wheel drive.

Saved my biscuit several times.
