Got a problem my 2002 650 all of a sudden it misfires or cuts out like a fowled plug but its not that ......takes awhile to start
puffs black smoke when it does. only got 40 miles on a tank of gas and the gas light came on . put new plugs in it yesterday but still doing it all your help is needed : also you can hear it misfiring about 20 miles an hour and the throttle sounds like it is fluttering from the air box........... filter is clean Thanks

 

SOUNDS LIKE CHOKE IS STICKING. You can replace the choke plunger springs with the KLR 650 springs or you can stretch out the stock ones and reinstall & lube plungers good.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
