Predators are very light compared to the 700. The 700s have about 47 HP stock and the quickest Utilitility Quads in production. Quad with the highest HP to Weight ratio & suspension setup will be quicker out the corners

I just raced my first drag race this weekend and a few runs were against Preddys. The track was groomed dirt so traction was a problem for some. My prairie in 4wd always got the jump on them and they played catch up. With a very skilled rider the predator would win.... but is less than ideal conditions the Prairie rocks.

I totally agree. If the conditions are not just perfect, the predator would have a more difficult time. The prairie700 has been a proven utility/sport quad ( See Mike Penland).

Honestly I knew better than to try them in 2wd. They would have beaten me badly. I figured since I had the extra 250 lbs or so I could use my 4wd. This actually made some of the races very close. My prairie in 2wd will spin the tries on nearly any surface until I get tired of doing so. Not exactly what you are looking for when drag racing.
