How powerful would a Mojave be if I'm stepping up from a z250?

I was looking at blasters, but I just found a mojave I like alot

a mojave will be a huge step up from a z250, it might not seem like it because they have around the same displacement but the mojave has 4 valves, dual cams and its liquid cooled...............it will be dead even with a blaster and they could easily take a 300ex and mojaves respond very well to mods to because of the 4 valve dohc engine and i forgot to mention that it will flat out smoke a z250 or 250ex...................check out www.cycleworksracing.net and click on mojave, they have all sorts of mods for mojaves and make kits from 300cc kits all the way up to a 370 stroker................i also forgot to mention that the stock compression on a mojave is 11:1 which is real good for stock compression, i think thats the same compression that a raptor has but i could be wrong.................

 

Save your money for 6 more months and buy a 400ex, Z400, kfx400 etc....trust me.

 

yeah man go for the mojave..they are great quads and are really fast for a 250...i would take a mojave over any 250 and over a 300ex, and blasters...that one your looking at looks sweet too...

 

i don't think a mojave is faster then my lt250s

 

I say go for it dude if we go all the out there cause that's along way, so what you gonna do?

 

A mojave will be awesome,it has a bit more power than the z250 and is manual clutch,chain drive,and is liquid cooled,so in the long run you can put some mods to make the mojave fly.It is a great choice.IMO
