Recieved this reply from cycleworks---please comment if you are interested---

tim or ole man moses,
i had the chance to work on a local 360 here. there is room for improvement in there if thats what your looking for. all i did was just give it a good port job. that flow flows good volume but lacks on velocity. but thats ok its a volume motor anyway. but i was able to go from 58 cfm (on stock cam) to 79cfm and 74% velocity to 91% vel at the entrance port. of corse you get higher readings the closer to the valve seat.
doing this and using a jet kit for the stock carb and i think he already had a big gun utility exhaust on. it reved quicker then stock and pulled a little harder. i milled the head for a little more compression but a proper piston would be better.
i can make a higher compression piston with a .020 or .040 over. that would be quicker and easier. or if enough people are interested i could see about making a big bore. but then i would need a test motor and im all out of 360.
but i am interested on doing something with them.

thanks
greg
