Default brute force coolant and b.f backfire.

the dealers saying mine does not need the needle recall, he's saying it was not affected, who knows, I,ll just bring it in and say its backfiring plz fix. i know a guy who bought one months after i did and straight out the box his was backfiring constantly in any situation.

Default brute force coolant and b.f backfire.

If you give me your e-mail address, I'll send you a copy of the TSB so you can see if your serial number is in the range of those "affected".

Yea, I think either they have a stash of carbs they draw from, or they only change it if someone gripes, mine was built jan. of 2005, my sons in feb. of 2005, his did it worse than mine. I say if it does it, raise cane till they change it, its a quick fix, they pull the battery and box and go in from the top, took him 30 minutes start to finish, my dealer does so many he keeps 2 in stock at all times.

yeah..it's running lean at low speeds...causeing the back fire and the hot running motor
