Default Moose module for $50?

Some guy is buying a new cdi and wants to sell his moose module for $50, is it worth a try? I already have the dg5. Has anyone tried both yet or am I the first. I can always sell it if its not as good as my dg5.

The price sounds good. I have not tried either one but the Moose is $95 here at the Kawi dealer.

If you already have the DG5, you shouldn't notice any difference. All the modules perform the same function regardless of how they market it...all they do is fool the cdi into thinking its moving faster than it is so that the cdi won't apply the retarded timing when you take off from a dead stop. That being the case, the only advantage I see is that the moose module is plug and play vs. the DG5 which you had to cut into the wires to install. If you are looking for a real improvement, get a Dyna cdi or the new VDI cdi which is supposed to come out on the market soon (but don't hold your breath...we've been promised that before).

Happy trails...
