WOW!! I got my IDS@ from BikeBandit.com for 248.00 & change. The site said "complete system", so I figured I'd get it, thinking "no way it's that cheap". Well, it was that cheap. The entire system, shipped for under 250! Any how, next week, when I have the time-- I've got a jet kit & am changing main jet to a 134(Baltimore elevation is 489 above sea level) & going to groove 3 on new needle, & gonna install the Supertrapp.
Any tips on exhaust installation & jet process?

OOPS, It's a '00 Lakota, & now that I thik about it, lakota's last production year was a couple years ago, so that's why it was so cheap, plus it wasn't a super seller--

 

not to sound like a jerk or dissipont you or anything but they sell thru rocky mountain for 209 and a few months back they used to only be 189........the kotas last year was 03 but jut because they styopped makin the lakota dosnt mean that no aftermarket parts will be made for it again or that they will be closeout price.........the jetting that you are gonna do sounds about right.......good luck with the supertrapp......let us all know how you like it

 

i got the last year they made the lakota...you dont see to many 2003 kota's around..lol...the supertrapp is a nice pipe...yeah jet the carb you'll see a big difference...yeah if anything the parts for lakota's are going up in price...i got my pipe last summer for 300 bucks and then a few weeks later it went up...i was glad i had gotton it...but yeah the parts made for lakota is still being made and if you look hard enough you can find amost anything for the lakota from airfilters to big bore kits...

 

Aw jeez- I missed out, I spoze. I had checked Rocky Mtn ATV, but I was looking for the BigGun, & I did not even look at the Supertrapps------ Y'know, I'm happy anyway, I've had a couple enduros w/ supertrapp exhausts & had no complaints w/ their products, I've got a good feeling about this system.
Oh, what about wheels? WWhere's the good deals on them? My Kota came w/ the stockers & they gotta go!

 

rockymoutainatv has the best deals on rims and tires... you can get a package deal too which is really nice and its still pretty cheap...they have a great selection and they are all at the cheapest prices you'll probably find even including shipping...most of the people i talk to buy there stuff from there cuz they have the cheapest prices and a ton of aftermarket parts and products...
