it started off running fine. 15 mins later it starts stumbling a lil and back firing until i would open her up.. then a lil longer riden it would just stop running like hitten the kill switch then if iwas on the gas still it would start goin again and shoot a flame out or pop. after bout 2 hours of riden it ot even worse! i would hold it wide open goin down the road and it would cut out and come back and cut out and come back just like if i was hitten the kill switch but it was in a consistant order like 2 seconds running perfect then 2 seconds not at all then 2 seconds running and on and on.... i think last time suttin like this happened i put brand new plugs and brand new gas high tes sh*t like always in it and it just was fine.. but i dont kno why this keeps happen ing! do i keep gettin bad gas or is there suttin wrong this time? oh yea when it would cut out my check belt light would come on then go off when it ran right.. well i usaly get the problem fiexed just fine but i just wanted to let ya kno about it haha well see tomarrow when i put gas in it

 

Assume you have checked your belt deflection & not in partial limp mode? Make sure also there is no oil in your airbox. No need for premium unless you just have the $$$ to burn or high comp pistons.

 

If it's popping, you might want to check the choke cable all the way to the carbs to see it it's getting stuck in the open position causing the bike to run really ritch. Another thing to check out is the spark plug wires "before they get to the plugs" to see if one of them came loose. This happened to me once and it took all day to figure it out. Good luck man!
