Talked to a couple of my dealers that I use and they say end of aug or first of sep. There was talk about a few getting some in july, but was told they will be going to reps for display only. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I'm very eiger to try one and compare it to my 800. I like my 800, but to be able to get 62hp and 54lbs torque out of 806cc, be 130lbs lighter, still have IRS, handle like a sra, and have a 5.3 fuel tank instead of a 4.13 I will without hessatation sell my SP800.

I here ya, man I can't wait. I will either sell my SP800 or have Ridgerunner convert it to a buggy. http://www.ridgerunner.biz/. I have not desided yet. I want to keep the Sp800 like it is till my BRP800 gets here so my buddy's and I can do a shootout of our own. We will have dad's BF750 and KQ700 along with my quads and my buddy's quads.

BlownBF

I guess so, much for the Hoop-LA about the Bomb's 62HP. The Bomb Should have Killed YA from start to finish. Guess the Bomb needs a higher stall Spring and or Module to be "KING FOR A DAY," which I'm sure is in the works.

Default A Die Hard Kawi Racer review of Bomb 800

My local dealer just came back from the kawie research and testing facility and he said a couple of things about the future kawie's and about the bomb 800.

1. In 2007 the BF will be bumped up to 800cc with efi and a modified IRS.
2. In 2007 the prairie 700 will be bumped up to 800cc with efi and SRA.
3. In 2007 the BF650 will come with IRS and/or SRA.
4. In 2007 there will be a new 500 v-twin efi BF with IRS and a prairie with SRA.
5. In 2007 the prairie 360 will be bumped up to 400cc and the bayou 250 will change frames.

6. He said the bomb is tuned to the upper end of it's capable HP, but the kawie v-twin is tuned to it's lower end of capable HP. He said I could get 65-70 HP with just a few mods on mine right now.

NOW..........as far as what I believe about all of this: I tend to trust my dealer since he has never told me anything that wasn't coming true in the past and since the owner is a long time friend of the family. HOWEVER, I will truly believe it when I see it. He said 2006 was not changing as far as line ups and that held true, so we will have to wait and see. As far as myself, I love the prairie 700 and BF750. Couldn't ever ask for more and plan on keeping for many years.

PS: No one will really know about how good the bomb800 will be until the public can actually get their hands on them, but I would venture to say it will be very good.

Did he say anything about some competition for the yamaha rhino? Maybe a unit based on the bf750? I think kawi is asleep at the wheel on that one.

I didn't even ask him, but that is a great question. I will see him next week so I will ask him. That would be great to put the 750 vtwin or if there is a new 2007 800cc vtwin in a kawie mule type side by side.

Did he say if any of them would be early releases, and is the prarie getting the new BF 650 plastic. It looks like kawi will be thoughing everything but the kitchen sink at the competition next year. Granted most of those updates are easy ones since the motors and chassis are for the most part already there. Changing the bore and stroke around on there twin motor is not that tough, its to bad they didn't release the 800 EFI prarrie this year to give the BRP800 a run for its money in the up and coming shootouts.

The question about the Rhino fighter is one I have been wanting to know about also. I keep going to the Kawi sight every few days to see if there 2006 side by sides are released yet, in hopes that there would be a new rhino type twin powered side by side relesed for 2006.
