A Die Hard Kawi Racer review of Bomb 800
I just talked to a buddy of mine who runs a dealership. He bleeds Kawi Green, that's all he races. His motto is, if it ain't Jap, then it's no good. He even got the dealership he worked for to get the Kawi lineup for sales. He was invited to test ride the 800 a couple days ago in which they had all other big bores there. They said they drag raced in sand, mud, hill climb, and even pulling weight, and the Bomb beat everything. Every quad was brand new so there were no break in's at all. He was quite impressed to say the least. He said it had a lot more power then the BF which came in 2nd. But what really impressed him was the handeling. He said it handled just like a SRA but with the plushness of the IRS. It took corners way better then any other quad there. So I asked him about the price in that it is steep compared to the BF($1000). It would take well over $1000 for the BF to have the same power and handleing as the Bomb 800 stock. Now this guy has never been on any Bomb in his life, and like I said, he loves Kawi especially the P700, but was very very impressed with the Outi 800. Just thought I would give you a non partial review of the 800.

Yes the Bomb may be a good quad , but keep in mind , if you were gonna show off your new model and have other brands there to compare to , you can be sure that those other brands would NOT be able to beat your machine . Not saying that the others were de-tuned in any way , shape , or form , but wait for the real comparisons you will see from the buying public . Don't forget about simple marketing ploys that have a way of creating a buzz with the public to generate sales . I'm not being biased at all because everyone that has something to sell will pump it up to seem better than it really is . Don't buy something based on what other people say , ride them all yourself , then decide which one fits your needs the best .

Hellyea!!
I Second that, HELLYEAH!!!
Ride it before you buy it. Its very rare when anything surmounts the advertising HYPE although the 02 Prairie 650 came verrrrrrry close. Even then, I test rode the Yamaha, Polaris, & Honda. One test ride on the Prairie and it was LOVE. If someone tells me I can't ride it before I buy it they are obviously on "CRACK" & not getting my business.
First production runs usually have a few bugs bugs to work out. Hopefully the 800 BRP is "All That & a Bag of Chips." Then, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, & Polaris will raise the bar on performance & reliability or the 800 BRP will dominate the Ultra high performance "Utility Quad" market.

That provens something was up , either rider ability or the machines have been possibily altered some ,the BF ain't the very best handing mahine but is a lot better than some , especially the Grizz and the AC's, have you saw the pics of the mighty 800 on the test rollers showing off the front diff ,where 3 wheels are spinning and the other one grabs the solid piece of metal , they say they are comparing it to the competition ,notice they consider the 800 competition a kodiak 400 with a limited slip front diff .

Quote "I heard the 1100 snowmobile motor head will bolt right on to the 800! This sounds almost too good to be true!"
First of all Bombi does not make an 1100 snowmobile motor they make a 1000. The 4 tec 1000 is not a motor suited to an ATV due to angle of the cylinders, intake track and alternator.
