Default Belt issues

I think Rubicon is a good choice. Stay away from CVT if you plan on using it as a utility machine. I just smoked a belt from doing some heavy hauling after only 10 miles/2 hours on the machine. When you drive into mud and get stuck, you normally try to back out first before you totally unload the trailer. It took less than 2 seconds for the damage to the belt. Neither my dealer or Kawasaki will cover it as a defect. They consider it normal wear. It was the second time I used the machine. The dealer knew I was pulling trailers of firewood each year in the fall and needed a good utilty ATV. I still have my '87 350 Big Bear (5-speed manual) that is a bit under powered, but will haul the wood in. Used it that way for nearly 20 years and never had any work done on engine or tranny. I've heard from another BF rider stretching a belt from hot *******. I certainly don't want to be stranded or limp home at 15 MPH if I'm out on a ride with my buddies.
