How does the mojave compare to the 300ex stock for stock in speed,handling,jumping,ect? can you mod one to be comparable to the warrior in speed?Also can it run on regular gas sometimes being high compression?If anyone knows any of this or knows alot about mojaves i would like to hear about it.

 

I have two mojaves and I also ride a 300ex of my friend sometimes. I have never raced stock for stock between the two but they are almost identical with a slight edge to the Mojave according to most people that i can believe. Not the ones that say "my mojave has a pipe and will outrun my neighbors Dodge Viper". One of my Mojaves that had only a pipe would definetly outrun my buddys almost new 300ex. My highly modded Mojave will destroy a 300ex. As for handling and jumping, again this is very close. The 300ex has a more plush ride but both are super woods machines and I really like jumping the Mojave better. The mojave has overall excellent handling and most important to me is that it is a just plain fun quad to ride. I don't think to much of the square tube frame used on the 300 either and the reverse simply sucks.
Not a lot of warriors riding with us but I feel sure my more modded Mojave is quicker than one.

 

Stock for stock the Mojave and 300EX are so close that it is only a matter of prefeance. If you like a smooth powerplant and plush suspension go for the 300EX. If you like to rev the guts out of the motor and could care less how much the suspension beats you up as long as you get from point A to point B faster than the next guy get the Mojave. I have not acually ridden a 300EX but from racing against them when my Mojave was stock I can easily see that the Mojave is much faster when you are pushing it to the limit but is harder on the rider to get this fast. The 300ex seems to takes less work to get to the limit but is limited by it's soft shocks and low to midrange motor. I didn't mention handling because I have never rode a 300 and can't tell by watching it which one is better. All I can say about handing is that I have NEVER been passed in a corner by a 300EX but that may just be the rider.

 

I used to have a 250X and some of my friends have 250X's and I would rather ride a Mojave than a 250x/300ex. I think the Mojave handles better because it isn't pushing as much in fast corners because of the stiffer shocks. It is also balanced better, jumping on it is easier. Stock for stock, it's just to close to decide which is better, but for me and some others the MOjave is the clear choice.

 

i have a mojave my self and one of my best friends has a 300ex. in races im always about 2 feet ahead of him if i had to compare the two i would say a mojave would be the best choice. Jumping appears to be about the same the mojave has a little stiffer shocks that makes it better around corners
