What wheel/tire package for the Brute
#11
When I'm ready to buy some tires, I think I'm going to get the deep lug Mudlights in stock size.
Even 25" mudlights sit about 1/2" higher than stock.
I love the idea of getting some rims to make the Brute sit wider, but I really dont want to spend the money ( Tight wad) At this point, I'm debating spaces or rims.
Thanks for the information

hollowcd:
If you can swing it, stay with the Radial tire, they ARE the best.
The Mudlites are now available as a Radial. I'd go either the 25x8x12Front/25x11x12rear or 26x9x12front/26x11x12rear.
Both the non-radial Mudlite & Radial Mudlite are 6 ply rated. The Radials will cost more but I believe well worth it.
I have found that the 12" wide rear tire is overkill but the 11" wide rear is perfect along with a set of the aftermarket wheels.
www.xopco.com does carry these Mudlites/ITP Type 4 black wheels, he also includes the center caps/lug nuts with the price of the tire/wheel package and gives excellent service.
xopco also has the non-radial Mudlites.
The Bighorn Radial is another good Radial tire but in my book of rules, way too heavy.
