Wait a minute I know what it is the kawasaki was pullin his buddies other warrior back to the truck. Tuff, thanks for the info on inmotions cycles I called them and will probably takin my prairie to them the first of next year, need it for hunting season. Bore, pistons, race porting, possibly new cams, and dyno breakin and tuning for around $1700, from what I hear it will be a raptor killer and give the yfz's all they want "in 100 yards of course."

Sounds a bit like buyer remorse. I have a friend who still doesn't enjoy his quad (Polaris) as much as he should, cause he's thinking he got 'taken' some way. Forget the money! What's done is done.

BTW, I think you got a fair deal.

No Problem.
You are going to have a "ROCKET."

If I don't sell mine or get the "RUMORED" SRA 800 prairie in 2006, I may also drop mine off next year after hunting season for the port, polish and High Comp pistons. $1700 is definately cheaper than new quad , Bombadier 800, or Brute 750 with a set of wheels.

I Don't want a special use quad or full drag race version but would like some more HP. I Want to still be able to still enjoy it on the trails without overheating/Over-power. I'm wheelieing into trees now on the triails and about 20 More HP (65+or -)would put it on the boarderline of INSANE but controllable POWER for the trails.

I just hope KAWI refines the suspension, seals, larger brakes, 4x4 actuators, axles, swing arm bearings, tie rods, and give it some more top end to shut up those mouthy sport quads.
Beat them in 100 yards, they want to run 200, best of 5...till they finally win.

Hey 1fatcat -
Today I just bought an '05 750 BF from Sacramento Kaw for $6682.82 OTD (dark green). I also know that Roseville Cycle has the '05 750 BF for $6782.82 (red & green) OTD until 8/15/05.
FYI

Greenhead......

What am I doing wrong...

I went to Sac Kawi last week and they only had a red 750 and they offered me a 700p for $7400 OTD...

Roseville Kawi ... hmmmmmm ... I called them and talked to someone who told me they had no one in sales for a week ... I found that odd.. Then I called back and got a girl behind the counter and she told me that "something" bad had happened to the dealership and they had been bared from new bike sales until the 15th of August...

Who did you talk to at Sac that got that price for you? I would buy tomorrow at that price.

The best price that I have gotten in writing is $7300 OTD... That was $6800 + tax and docs ($35)....

I must suck at this....

1fatcat -
I first went to Roseville Cycle. They gave me the $6782.82 OTD price - but apparently the DMV shut them down until the 15th...don't know why. I am sure that once the sales opens up that they will sell it for the same price - they had like 5 or 6 on the premises.
Anyway, I took the written price to Kaw Sac (because Roseville Cycle was shut down and I wanted to see how valid the price was) and dealt with Tim Langston the General Manager (916)290-8555. I will be quite honest...he wasn't exactly excited about the price, but he just barely beat it. He may be unwilling to replicate it again - I don't know. He told me they deal in volume... also, I went during a slow time - 9am on a Wednesday morning.
Kaw Sac didn't have any '05 Brute Forces in stock but they are currently finding one - should have it tomorrow or Saturday (deposit is taken and PO is written)!
Hope this helps.
Send me an e-mail if you want to discuss it further.

PS - Woodland Kawasaki couldn't touch the price - he kept saying that it must be a mistake...

Greenhead...

Yah.. I called everyone from Hayward, vallejo and fairfield, to Folsom, Gootime, Sac and Roseville.. Overall the guys at Goodtime were the absolute best.. Nice Help..

Folsom was the only dealership to offer a test drive...

Hayward told me they would do the deal at $6800 OTD and $400 for the 4yr warranty: they also said they would throw in a werner 2500 winch for $69... When I told them I was driving down with my trailer and I would need something in writting I got a call back that they couldn't do that deal..

Sac had a red brute 2 saturdays ago and told me they would absolutely not do a dealer trade... Funny...

Roseville is back open and said if I came in they would 'talk' about getting to $6800 OTD ..

Folsom is the last dealer with camo one so I will give them a shot.

Couldn't find an email for you ...

I raced a guy who had the same mods you have plus a port job and on race gas. We raced a 100 yard sand drag and to be gentle, lets just say he didn't want to race again because he didn't have any goggles. His excuse was he didn't have paddles but then again neither did I. My best advice to you is find someone with mods similar to mine, who knows how to ride and line'em up. If you win then you'll know I was wrong but if you lose then take it like a man and don't make up excuses. Who knows maybe one day your dad will let you get the mods you want on your other bike.
