Default Bayou 185- stuck intake valve

Hi,
I just got a Bayou 185 for $210, in non running condition. It is a little beat up, but it was running and driving a year ago. It has been unused for about a year now, since the previous owner moved and had it in a shed. It did not seem to have much compression, and it sounded like air was coming out the carb. At home I was watching inside the cylinder with a flashlight and pulling the rope slowly, and noticed I could only pull it out so far. I took the covers off the valves, and noticed the intake valve was stuck. I can only get it to come back a small amount. The previous owner did work on it a little this year, but gave up. Could the valve be bent? How much damage could that do to the piston? Does anyone know where I could get a new or used intake valve? If it werent for that, it would drive. Thanks in advance.

Only way to find out is to pull the head. Sometimes if a motor sits for a while rust will start on the vavles, and they will stick. But like said, the only way to know is to pull the head

Well, I can pry it up about 1/4" with a screwdriver on the top of the spring, and can't get it any farther. I called 2 dealerships and they both said I need to take the head off, but a new head gasket is $26, and the valve timing would be all messed up.

Might as well just do it, theres really no other way to do it, and there should be marks on the cam gears for the timing.
