There isnt much rust on mine but where there is its not serious i bought it last october and i have replcaced the brakes once u may need to get a tail pipe i will post pictures

 

How big is everyone that owns the bayou 22o im thinking of getting one im 5"10" 190. Can i get around on it in mud, snow, and trails.

 

i am 6' 0", 250 lbs, and i have a bayou 220, and i can get up, over, down, around, or any other dirrection you want me to go no problem. i am a big guy and have been riding the same machine for 9 years, and havent had a problem yet. as long as you have good tires, and know your gears, you'll be ok at almost any size..... i wouldn't recommend any one over my size, by then you should upgrade to like a 300 or so anyway. so you will do great on one, i take mine everywhere, you'll like it too, it's a dependable machine.

 

hey do u guys no anything about a bayou 220 losing power??? i think mine is. it is accelerating slower than when i got it. any ideas???

 

clean your spark plug, that always helps me. just get a wire brush and clean off the end. that and if your tires are getting worn that could be a factor too.

 

i tried the spark ( i replaced mine) and my tires aren't that bad. when i got 2 weeks ago it ran fast and good. now it doesn't...So what the heck???/[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

sorry, man i dont know what else to tell you. i'd probably run it for a few days, see if it passes. if it doesnt, take it and get it checked. is it really dragging or just not as much acceleration or what?

i am happy to say that i got new tires! but right now i only have the fronts cause they screwed up my order, but the backs will come in soon. it feels good not to have a normal turning radius again! i also tightened up my brakes and did some adjustments so it stops on a dime now. i am very happy right now, and j/ thought i'd share that with you.
