New brakes?

Default New brakes?
I just changed the front brake pads on my 2001 Lakota and they don't work as good as they used to. Do they need to wear in before they grab like the old ones did?

you have to brake them in just ride it at a low speed and lock the brakes up in front and let off them but if you do that a few times they should adujust

I still have good pressure when I pull the brake, and I did drive it around the yard slow. Maybe I should take it out and ride it harder, but with the old pads I could sto pon a dime. I hope I can get that back.
