Need Help Buying a 96 bayou 220!
Keep in mind that the Bayou is a pure utility quad which means it's built more for work that play. I can't count the number of times I've seen posts from younger owners of Bayous looking for ways to make them run faster. I own one myself and consider it a great quad for hunting chores and such.
Kelly Blue Book offers a website that list average retail prices for used quads in addition to just about any other type of vehicle.
Good luck,
Dan

sounds like a nice deal to me...bayou's are great little quads...i got a bayou 250 which is great for crusing in the trails and moving wood and work around the house...but if you want a quad that can be ridden really fast through trails and raced than i wouldnt waste the time lookin into it...dont get me wrong there great for work and all but i push mine to the limit evertime i take it out and im not even riding that hard...if you want a quad more sport maybe a 250ex, blaster, or z250...

That's a good price for a nice quad.
My son has a 2004 Bayou and he loves it. I have ridden it a few times and am impressed by the thing.
No, you will not win races, catch major air or do any serious mudding with it. But, if you are looking for a good deal on a quad you can have a lot of fun on...I think you found it.
