I'm new and need some help please and thank you

I just purchased a 1999 bayou 300 4x4 and after riding one time in the woods the front left tire started making a sqeaking noise and grinding noise. The noise seems worse when turning to the left. The tire also seems loose when you push the tire from side to side. I am new to 4 wheelers and would appreciate any and all help with this matter. Thank you very much for the help. I don't want to just come in for a one time help me and never return unless I need help. I am willing to learn everything possible about these vehicles. Thanks again. Greg King

Check your front brake to see if it is dragging, full of mud, or need re[lacement parts. Elevate your atv and spin the tire by hand. Should be able to determine by looking and listening if its your brake or the bearing in axle thats shot/bad.

thanks for the reply. Haven't checked that yet but the lower a arm seems like it has a lot of play in the two bolts that mount it to the frame. I tried to tighten them with no luck. Could this cause the noise that I am hearing. P.S. the right side is tight and no movement in the a arm. Thanks again will check the brakes and spin the tire. Greg King
