It depend on what everybody else rides that you go quading with. If they are all on 4X4 and you on a sport you will be mile agead of them on the good trail and miles behind them in the bottomless mud.

 

A note on mud bogging and creek crossing, i have a kfx400 and i was riding on new trails with my neighbors 440ex. he suddenly stopped and i shot by him. Hit a 5 foot deep creek going about 65-70 and slid right over it like it was ice. The main key here was a butt-load of momentum. If you are a capable rider you can do anything.
