I'm looking at 1998 Kodiak 400. It has 4100 miles. Is this considered high miles for this unit? The seller also states that it burns about 1 pint of oil every 200 miles.
He's asking $2200 for the ATV. See pic.
Is this still a good deal or should I keep looking?

IMO 4100 miles is high miles on a quad no matter what year it is, I put 2300 miles on my old quad in 2 years and I did a lot with it in that amount of miles, rode it every day everywhere, plowed my driveway with it a lot, and just really worked it hard. A quad with 4100 miles means is that it's been through a lot and the 400cc engine has been through a lot as well, and if it burns oil I'd be afraid other things would start going wrong later on, like maybe at 5000 miles something more costly fails. But you should post this question in the Yamaha forum to see what they have to say about the price of it. It looks good in the picture though.
But I did hear someone say they had a quad with 17000 miles on it, and the engine final died.
