Noise in belt area

Default Noise in belt area

Hey guys I have a o4 700 prairie there is a noise coming from my belt cover almost the same sound as a loose valve any ideas would be appreciated thanks

If it's when the bike is idling, it's probably the wear shoes in your primary clutch. Could also be primary clutch outer cover bushing or primary clutch movable sheave bushing.

If your moving when it makes that noise. have a look at the belt itself. The dealer ended up replacing mine because it was "hourglassed"

Thanks guys it is making the noise when it is idling I will check it out tommorow
