Looking to get my V-Force hooking up this winter on the lake. Anybody have any Tire/Screw/Stud combo that works great.

Chen Shin ice tires are one of the ultimates, but they are sized for sport quads... how radical do you want to go ???

if you need AMA approved Ice Screws, look for as flat a profile & as short a tire as possible... glad to go into some specific recomendations if you'd like there...

I also have a set of 22" tires with around 80 - 1.5" X 1/8" stainless bolts in them... can go into more detail there also...

you can also run the unstudded classes, & the ATR's are easily the best unstudded tire on the lake...

Hey, thanks for the info. Tell me a liitle about the 22's with the stainlees bolts in them. I'm just lookin to woop up on my friends on the lake. How about paddle tires with snowmobile studs supported by a piece of rubber on the inside of the tire?

If you click on the camera, & look at the pic with my quad from the rear, with the wheelie bar, & listing the Duro tires... those are Duro HF-224's they are a very light weight 2 ply tire, with a flat tread profile, & are very cheap compared to comparable tires...they are listed at 23" X 10.5" X 12", & 23" X 7" X 12", but run short, measuring just under 22" O.D.... the light weight of the tire will help over come some of the weight of the studs... ( my bolted tires are 22" X 12.5" X 9" TSL's, & 23" X 8" X 12" 489 XT's )... even the stainless bolts wear pretty fast, the shortest of carbide snowmobile studs work well, as would grade 8 bolts... the tires need to be done before mounting, & require a good sealant, that has antifreeze in it... I use High Lifter Air Lock, & have no trouble even though I have around 80 bolts through each tire... BTW... I used 1.5" bolts, & small fender washers inside the tires, & small washers & nyloc nuts on the outside, & had much less trouble, even though I've used them for grass drags as well, than I have with my AMA approved ice race screws...
