Wix makes a filter to fit it. I cant remember the part number. However the last two Wix filters ive used have loosened up to the point of letting out oil while running! The first one I thought maybe I didnt tighten down enough, but the second one I know was tight on there and it too came loose and let out oil. I dont plan to use anymore of these and will stick to what I know works, Kawasaki oil filters. You can get them online and not worry about a dealership too.

Thats a thing thats way up for debate. But from personal experience, I use a 10W40 dino oil that DOES NOT say energy conserving on the bottle. I found that mine doesnt care much for fully synthetic and oil consumption goes up when I run it. When I used a thick 50wt oil the engine ran hotter and the fan came on a lot more. So I stick with 10W40 non synthetic.
