North Eastern PA - coal region riding
been reading threads about riding in NE PA. I know of lots of trails atop the coal mtns. that are old roads from the strip mining days. You have to be sure that owners don't mind you riding. I you do, ride clean. They will post up land as soon as people, sorry to say, "out of towneres" start trashing equipment and stealing fuel....
have 2 free passes for Paragon, going to try it out soon. Did the Tremont park and yes it is rocky. They have nice BX and moto cross tracks too...saw the 8 Bees post too, going to have to look into that as I work right up the street from it.
Tamaqua area has alot of great riding, too. I suggest you shop at Thorn's Cycles in Tamaqua. He is very knowledgable about where you can and cannot ride. Will even show you USGS maps if you like.
