Ride report FST-800 at The Badlandz
I was down at Badlanz in Indiana this weekend and i had a chance to really test out the freshly built FST -800 V-Force. The first races were in a field, that extended about 400 yards long or about 1200 feet. This race included a Yfz-450 with major work that had , modified carb, intake, exhaust, cam mod , cdi , port and ploish, and i think he was running race gas by the smell of his exhaust. Also that was racing was my buds kfx-700 and a trx-450r. First two races i won, the third race i was dead even with the modified yfz-450 neck to neck all the way down the field.
Then later in the day, i was tuaghting this yfz-450 with the regular mods, exhuast, intake, etc.. i asked him if he wanted to race and he says to me, " My ol' man has that quad and beat him all the time by alot......" So, i say ok lets go... we raced three times and i walked him every time. This kid was speach less. The engine only has about 8-9 hours on it and is still getting faster. ph34r.gif

I would get the TRX450 if I was going to get something else. Plenty of power and you can't beat how it rides. I played with my sons in the dunes and it was sweet. JMO So do you tow one quad behind the other over to race?
