My Brute Force 750 takes 5 feet or so to engage the 4x4, is this just the Brute Force or all Kawasakis? Are there any modifications that can correct this? Getting stuck in 4x2 with no room to engage 4x4 is not my idea of a good time.

 

Welcome the the world of Kawasaki. there isnt really a way to make it faster, all you can do is try to engage it before hand or when your stuck roll your rear tires over slowly untill it goes into 4x4. once you get used to it its not bad.

 

Yep, that's a Kawi. Lock her in before you hit that mudhole.

And it won't engage if your already stuck, so anticipate your 4WD needs.

Not to worry though How much 4WD you think you'wll need? Unless you in mud and swamps.....then you better off in 4WD all the time....
