I don't think that a head gasket would allow that much water into the oil.

Is it green coolant or plain water?

If it's coolant I'd check the waterpump for a leaking seal. If it's plain water maybe it's a new Orleans refugee?

keep changing the oil...maybe owner gave it one good last beating before you got it and it took in some water...
drain the oil, pull your spark plug and oil filter off. Let it set over night and dry out...also, drain the bowl on the carb...
then clean out the cylinder head with some ether or wd-40, maybe even put in some fogging oil in. Add the fogging oil to the cylinder, carb and anywhere else you think it was wet. replace your filter, fill your oil back up, replace your plug and run it a bit...
maybe gas got water too...might want to add some dry gas...
run it for a bit and see how the oil looks...

mine was flooded pretty good a few weeks back, even had the exhaust spraying water for a few seconds after we dried the guts out and restarted...
