Default Kx VS. TT-R

This really doesn't have anything to do with atvs but, i just got a 2000 kx 100 and this dude down the street has a 2006 tt-r 125. He's talking all this junk on how he can be beat me without a doubt. My questions are both the bikes are stock so how fast are they? Which would win in a half mile race down a hill? I'm bout 5'11 200 pounds he's maybe 5'8 and 129 pounds. All replies are appreciated.

lol thats a joke, i have had a friends 03 ttr 125L at my house for a little under a year now and i have ridden it quite a bit and although it makes a ok smaller sized trails bike it is very very slow. It probally has a top speed of 52 to 53mph and it takes forever to get there. Im not even going to say anymore, you will flat out smoke it in any racing condition, ive seen a ttr 125 get beat by a 1987 kx60 that was completely stock, and ive driven plenty of kx85's and 100's and the 100 is really quick, probally about comparable to a kx250f or a crf250f(those are fourstroke motocross bikes). I bet you could wheelie all the way and still win........let us know the out come

I knew all along that he didn't have nohing on me. I just got off the phone with him maybe 5 mins ago and now he says he's gonna race me on his brothers yz 85. Would I still win or would I lose I told him that he would lose and then he starts talking about racing me on his cousins cr 85. Same ? would I win or lose. They are both 05's and stock.

as long as your top end is ok you will stil deffinatly win as long you both have around the same skill level of riding....all the kx 100 is, is a factory over bore kx85 so stock for stock it is faster then all the 85's

the guy that I bought it form didn't say much about the bike. he said it was garage kept and that he hasn't riden it in a year or so. though I took it out for a drive today and it worked good. Though he just rode by walking wheelies and burning out like he's threat to me.

The YZ might give you a run for your money, but the TT-R will get murdered.

Aight so the guy came back up to my house after he rode by yesterday, with this guy on a 300 ex. i decided to ride with them t go see them race. When they raced from start to finish the ex had em beat. He even gave the guy bout two bikes and still beat him. i went home and got my bike and went back to rae him. But when i got back he wouldn't race me only the guy on the fourwheeler. i raced hime twice and both times I beat him without a problem. This assures me aswell as him that he can't beat me. i haven't heard him run his mouth anymore about racing me since.
