Racing a Mojave???
ht ... dont believe everything you read about power increases. its all about the total package with motors. intake ,compression ,combustion, exhaust. work on all 4 and you will rip!! pipes help but ....the more mods you do ,the more it will help. as for those jet kits... its b.s. !! you can go and buy the correct jets for way less and put the rest of your money back in your pocket. i love to hear when guys say their bikes are "all jetted out " LOL ilove it ! every bike SHOULD BE JETTED CORRECTLY . i get my mods all at once... i dont play around! i dont care about what this adds and what that adds... its a total package thing. if you want more power.... you must get the motor opened up !!if you on a budget and have to go a step at a time i would go pipe and air box mods(jet),11.5 piston, cam(jet),big carb last. i wish you could ride my mojave .....its pretty fast. talk to greg at cwr ,he races a flat track big-bore mojave. thats where i got my work done(bore, piston kit, cam, valves and headwork ). he knows the mojave motors very well . im selling my mojave for a 4x4 but i cant have 3 quads. those mojaves are great woods bikes... nimble as hell !! if you have questions pm me..... i have been riding quads for 20 years. im pretty good at jetting also. later

ya the 20% increase with the power up kit is BS, i bought one and noticed no diffirence at all really and i thought the K&n filter sucked because it required way too much mantience and it was hard to get the prefilter to stay on right every time the filter came off for a cleaning(which was alot) and i only bought the power kit in the first place because i found it somewhere for only 59 bucks which is like half price.
anyways i just ended up getting a 36mm mikuni from CWR which made a HUGE diffirence and i ditched the K&N and now i use twin air. If your going to waste 120 bucks on a power kit, just spend a bit more and you could have a 36mm mikuni carb kit and with that you will auctly see performance gains. I would also reccomend cams, a high comp pistion, port work and bigger valves if you really want to see some power gains

precisely. the total cost of the jets would be no more than 30 bucks...and you only use two of them lol. i did mine all at once. im running a 14 front with stock rear and it would annialate a stocker with taller gearing to boot! i climb smaller hills ( 30 degree or so)in 3rd and 4th gear....2nd is for trouble situations only. i like it but i must sell

ok what type of jets would you reccommend the dyno or moose and so far im still won on the FMF M-max pipe, i hear that its good and i hear that big gun is better but still i just want to get the top speed up to 65 or so. to accomplish that what mods would it take no more no less.

ht...... you want to go 65 huh ? where ...certainly not motocross. if you want to blow up and down the street by your house go with 15 front and drop the back sprocket down. i hope your nor trying to beat raptors and such on the open road !! my r might do 70 with my gearing... do i care hell no !!! i ride woods . i had to gear up because of tire spin ..not for speed. if you want to break land speed records ..you picked the wrong machine. ill bet your between 14-17 years old and want to go REAL FAST!!!! cool but going 65 has nothing to do with motocross!!! figure out what rpm you want your power... and shoot for it. you can have it all ..but it costs cubic dollars to do. if you want top end .. you lose bottom ,and so on. if you shoot for top end .. it will be gutless !! be realistic with your machine !!

yes, 8625rrider is absoutly right...............just think of it this way, how many times have you had the need to be completely toped out rather then just useing your midrange power (3rd and 4th gear). I know i have only gotten toped out a few times but when i go on everyday trail rides i seem to be in 3rd and sometimes 4th more then any other gear. I would work on gaining some all around power rather then just looking to gain top speed because the only way you are going to get top speed is to change your sprockets and this would absoutly kill your bottom end unless you had some serious engine work to make up for it so you would probally never get to that top speed anyway because you would run outa room. I woudlnt go with the fmf, just look at how many people have fmf's(no one) and how many people have white bros, supertrapps and big guns. that shoud tell you somthing
